Smoke From All The Friction
Smoke From All The Friction
Smoke From All The Friction, based in Raleigh, NC is the newest creation from seasoned local performers Cam Gillette and Ina Carino. It blends traditional and underground cultures to create a fusion of dark pop, rock, and indie electronic that grabs listeners with both a sense of familiarity and a striking curiosity. Inspired by the ideas of tension and friction, they seek to explore what happens when we venture outside ourselves, past the abstract social constructs that create barriers between us. Instead of simply creating a musical performance for mere entertainment, they inspire a deeper, thought-provoking appreciation between the audience and the music itself.
