Motion Pictures
Motion Pictures
Motion Pictures is a five-piece rock and roll band from Raleigh, NC that formed in the summer of 2009. Ryan Bartok (Lead Guitar) and Chris Pendleton (Vox/Rhythm Guitar) have been musical companions for the better part of 20 years, and had the privilege of meeting Paul Sanders (Keyboards and Vox) in the late '90's. They've been playing music together on and off ever since. Through years of bands together and separate, they teamed up with Robbie Brock (Drums) and Clint Jernigan (Bass/Vox/Engineer) to provide the backbone. Quickly becoming close both in music and friendship, Motion Pictures have enjoyed crafting songs together ever since. Motion Pictures self-produced debut EP was released in 2012.

DirtRoad Senate
DirtRoad Senate
DirtRoad Senate is a band fromĀ the great state of North Carolina, USA, Planet Earth. They formed in 2012 with the line-up of John McDonald, Anthony Parks, Brad Blue and Parker Martin. In 2013, the band parted ways with Martin and brought in Zachary Black to fill the vacancy.
They play rock & roll. They play beautiful, loud, melodic rock & roll. Paying tribute to influences and inspirations ranging from every corner of the musical spectrum, DirtRoad Senate seeks to blaze their own trail with a sound that is, in their words, "Brit-Pop with a southern accent." DirtRoad Senate provides an addicting bundle of pop-hook fundamentals, from the rock-steady rhythm section of Black and Blue, to the fever dream guitar tandem of Parks and McDonald. Onstage, DRS will mix humor and sentiment to bring the audience into an intimate setting of musical fellowship and much needed escapism.
Since forming, DRS has had the honor of playing several regional venues and festivals, including First Friday performances with national acts Yarn and The Revivalists, support of national act McKenzie's Mill as well as the Shady Grove Music Festival. DirtRoad Senate plays from the heart, for the people. Energy, commitment, precision and a damn good time is what DRS brings to their audience.
The band will be heading into the studio in July 2013 with producer Steve Bastarache to record their debut full-length.
