Days In May
Days In May
The band got started in early 2009 as an acoustic project with original members Lance Carrier and Scott Hill. After playing several shows, they decided to expand the project to a full band. After a bit of searching they found Tim Morrison and became a trio missing a bassist. In December of 2009 the band FINALLY got their bassist Kaelie Kandel. After a year of touring and recording Scott decided that he wanted to focus on other things, so the band started searching for a new member and playing what they could. They didnt end up finding a new member that fit and wanted the same things they did until April of 2011. That member was Joey Harper. Since then the band has played several shows and is working on recording their first full length album.
She's Alive
She's Alive
She's Alive was formed in the fall of 2011 by Aaron Tolbert, Matt Smith, Ben Fleishman, and JBazan. All veteran's of the Chicago independent music scene, the foursome set out with the simple goal of creating the best music of their careers. They settled down in a studio in Chicago and started writing. They also began what would become an epic quest in search for a singer. They searched high and low, near and far, propositioning talent from as far away as Minnesota and New Jersey. Just when all hope seemed lost, in the 11th hour, the band found young Alex Rogers to be a perfect complement to the songs they had been writing and their plans for the future. The now complete She's Alive has been working tirelessly in their attempts to bring people music that is interesting and accessible as well as exploring new ways to engage and really get to know their fans. They are extraordinarily excited for their debut and look forward to seeing you at a show!
1944
1944
Formed at the end of last year, 1944 is composed of Lead Singer/Bassist Tyler Whiteley, Guitarists Adam Barnard and David Pierce, and Drummer Daniel Fitzmaurice. Focusing for the last months of 2012 on solidifying their powerful original songs (both electric and acoustic), 1944 is a young but talented musical communion of many various genres, pulling from bands like Blink-182, Angels and Airwaves, The Dangerous Summer, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Coldplay. They have high hopes for playing live in 2013, and are excited to bring you messages of hope and inspiration in their music.
