Curtis Stith
Curtis Stith
Curtis Stith is an independent Folk/Pop artist from Carrboro, NC. His influences include Ben Howard, Billy Joel, Passenger, and Ed Sheeran. At the age 17, he began his career as a performing and recording artist with the release of his debut EP ‘Why Not’. As a solo act he has since performed at The NC State Fair, Oak City 7, the Local 506, Stewart Theatre, SoFar RDU, and many other venues and events.

His band, Curtis Stith and the Silver Lining, was formed in 2016, and is comprised of Trevor Pister (Acoustic Guitar), Andre DiMuzio (Keys and bg Vocals), Peter Newell (Electric guitar and Bass), and Eli Howells (Violin and Bass). Curtis himself performs from the drum set, making for a memorable and entertaining performance that stands out among the many singer/songwriter-based groups. While creating new arrangements of songs from the 2015 EP, and writing new songs that showcase the full band sound, the new group was featured at the Carrboro Music Festival, Bourgie Nights (Wilmington, NC) The Station (Carrboro, NC), Deep South the Bar (Raleigh, NC), the Local 506 (Chapel Hill, NC), and as part of a Hopscotch Music Festival day party.

Stith and his band released their first full length album in July of 2017. The album showcases catchy hooks paired with story-based songwriting that quickly creates a connection with the listener. The songs, together with the live yet polished feel of the record, makes for an engaging, entertaining, and fun listen cover to cover.
Gabriel David
Gabriel David
Gabriel David's band focuses on his original work, combining pop songwriting, R&B arrangements, and soulful performances to yield a live show simultaneously classic and modern. He lives in Chapel Hill, NC, where you'll find him either failing to do nothing or trying to do everything.

His tenure in two successful local bands (Morning Brigade 2011-2014 and Virgins Family Band 2012) has left him a two-time TEDxUNC alum and a Hopscotch veteran and has allowed him to work with producers like Chris Stamey and John Davenport and play to sold-out crowds at Local 506.

He's emerged from those bands with a fresh focus on writing his own material, though he also sings and plays with cover band Carolina Sidekicks and regularly performs session work as a studio keyboardist.
The Jonah Project
The Jonah Project
The Jonah Project began when Tristan McGee and Bryan Diver dreamed of what it would be like to write a song from the perspective of Jonah in Jonah 2 and 3. The idea quickly caught on and in a matter of weeks the band had begun writing and practicing together. Joined by Aaron Allred and Jackson Wall, the band became a bridge-point where former band Drift Wood Miracle and Achord met.
