Dane Page
Dane Page
Dane Page was born and raised in Mooresville, North Carolina, just north of Charlotte. He got his first guitar in 7th grade in hopes of becoming Jimmy Page, but after picking up an acoustic guitar in high school his interests shifted. He started listening to folk music and built an appreciation for songwriters. This appreciation continued to build as he went to college at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina where he was surrounded by bluegrass and folk music on a daily basis. He began songwriting in the summer of 2013 and hasn't stopped since. His influences range from Josh Ritter to Hank Williams, to Justin Townes Earle, to Paul Simon, to Gregory Alan Isakov. Dane graduated in 2015 and moved back to the Charlotte area where he continues to write and play music throughout North Carolina and bordering states. He combined his love for Folk, Rock, and Blues into powerful, yet smooth songs that make up his debut EP, "City to City"
Mike The Prophet
Mike The Prophet
Hailing alone from the famously strange heart of Central Florida, Mike the Prophet came of age in a stew of Southern and Caribbean influences. The solo artist's fusion of pop, rock, Latin, and American folk described in a 2013 reviews as "equal parts margaritas and moonshine" has garnered comparison to classic artists like Jim Croce and Elton John as well as contemporary faces like Passenger and The Avett Brothers.

His debut self-titled album released April 2015 is a tight collection of punchy songs, heavy on lyrical content and hooks, and lacking fluff and self-indulgence. Elegantly constructed, his debut says exactly what it needs to say; no more, no less. And it says it damn catchy.

That confident simplicity comes from someone who is a straight shooter in music and life. Mic the Prophet's video series, The B♮ Tapes [Pronounced "Be Natural"], features himself and other artists recorded as honestly as possible: one microphone, one camera, one song, usually outdoors.
